This is my exact situation, it's almost uncanny. I thought I accidentally posted this myself. I've loved my gay bff since I've known him, and even after he came out to me. He knew I had "a thing" for him, but he doesn't know I still love him more than anything and don't want to be with anyone else but him. I get real jealous as well, but we just need to accept that they'll be our best friends forever and not our husbands, and that that's okay.
