My dad is a hardcore alcoholic. He has been for all my 23 years of life. I hate him for everything he has put me and my family through. Sometimes I even wish, he'd just die. It's too much.. Everyone looks at me and see's my father. They think I'm spitting image of him. I more like him than anyone knows.. I'm a drug addict.

Addictive tendencies do tend to be inherited, but that does NOT mean that you are destined to live the kind of life your father did.
YOU can stop the cycle. Start right now, with your own life. Do whatever it takes to get clean and stay there.
You know how much it hurt your mom to have to put up with your dad's drinking all those years...think of how much more it would hurt her to know that now YOU (her child) has substance abuse problems, as well...
You are young, yet, and have the greater part of your life ahead of you. Get clean so you can enjoy it ALL....

my dad was an alcoholic for about the last 10 years of his life, he died when i was 10. i think it's okay to be angry, what he's doing is wrong but your other commenter is right, imagine how your famly feels seeing that happen to you too? my mom fell apart when my sister started doing drugs, and its slowly ruining our family. be strong.
