Dead Love

The secret is really not a secret; just something that we both know but never say..."our love is dead". It didn't die of natural causes through time, for we have been together only five years, but rather a death by neglect. Since I am the one telling the "secret", I could say that it's all your fault but the truth is that we both stopped trying. We stay together for different reasons; yours is financial and mine is guilt but regardless, here we are stuck and miserable. If I had any courage, I would leave you while you still have the beauty and youth to find someone new.
