I am 17 years old. My virginity bothers me so much eeryday it's almost like a physical pain. ALmost all of my friends have had sex. I feel so inadequate compared with them. I'm terrified I'll never find someone I trust who would want to have sex with me. I hate the pressure of being a teenager.

i hate the pressures of being a teenager too.
i am 14.
i lost it to someone after knowing them for 27 minutes.
i was VERY drunk. :(
i dont know why i did it. i think i thought it would make me..older.
i wish i had it back. i would rather wait 10 more years and lose it to someone special than have lost it to him..

Dude, take it easy. It's not like any of your friends are good at it, and half the time they lie about it anyway. Pregnancy and disease are good reasons to wait.

your only a virgin once buddy. i waited until i found the one person that i absolutly fell in love with. I was 20 and a junior in college. i dont regret it a single bit.

being A virgin really is not that much of a big deal, just as many people are not having sex as those who say they are, wait until you find someone worth doing it with, being a virgin does not make you inadequate!!

I was a virgin in high school to. I felt the same pressure as you do now; guys would try and try to get with me just to say they got me. I was entirely way too affraid to get pregnant or get a disease so I decided not to do it until I was ready to deal with what ever consequence came with having sex. I was 20 when I finally found someone worth it. I do not regret waiting at all!!

It sucks, but you really should try not to worry about it. I was a virgin until I was 19, I found the right person, and I don't regret a thing. Just don't let people make you think that you are inadequate just because you haven't had sex. There is always someone out there.
