Failure
QuickCode : 6011
I was meant to be going to university this year. And I was looking forward to it so much. But I missed a grade, I got a B instead of an A, so I've got to reapply. Which means another year at home. Now I've realised how miserable I am here. And I've got to put up with it for another year. Plus I think my mum hates me because her perfect child prodigy daughter missed one grade by 1%. I'll never be good enough for her. I feel like a failure. All I want to do is to travel. Nothing more. But that's not good enough. I have to go thru uni and get a good degree, then a job that I know I'll be unhappy in, and basically throw away my life, all because I just don't have the strength any more to stand up to her. She won't listen.
I've cried more in the past five weeks than I have in the past five years.

Honestly in my opinion, if your mother doesnt care about your happiness then she does not care about you. My advice to you is that if you are 18 or of the legal age that you can take care of yourself. Find somewhere to go, a small apartment in another city 5 states away or something and look into how you could travel. Perhaps one of the easiest jobs to get into that involves travelling would be a Stewartess on an Airline. Of course there are many other ways, but in the end you decide what you do with your life, and you have the strength and determination to follow it through. May safety and peace be with you.
