I was in a relationship (lasting four and one half years) that went real sour. I was going to marry this girl and she left me for someone she knew for two months.
Ever since then, I have been endlessly lonely. It hurt because I know I have love in my heart for a girl. I'm just afraid my chance passed me by.

You might be lonely now but you wont be for too long... Im sure theres a wonderful girl out there looking for you, when you find her you'll know!!! Don't let your love go to waste... some girl needs and wants it.

Look on the bright side, better she left now than pull the same stunt Seinfeld's whore wife did by leaving her newlywed husband just weeks after getting married. This way, you learned that she was fickle and your marriage would have been doomed from the start. Maybe you're both very young, I hope so, but regardless it's not the other man's fault - it's all hers for being unfaithful. Walk away and live your life, ignore her and focus on the future don't pine for the past. Good luck!
