Coming out can be a very hard thing to do. I would say do not come out until you feel that you are comfortable with yourself and the subject. If you do feel comfortable, try telling some close friends and see how they react. Just keep in mind, if someone can't accept you for YOU, then they're not worth your time. They should love you for who you are, and don't let anyone tell you it is a choice because it's not! Stay strong and believe in yourself!!!

I know it is hard but you cannot deny what you are. Tell family and close friends you don't need to let your entire school know.

Aren't all schools homophobic? I'm gay, myself, and I've accepted it, but I don't feel the need to tell everyone at my school yet. I'm going to wait for them to get to know me, and then I'll slowly let it out. Who cares, anyway? It's none of their business, is it?

i agree, its a really sensitive issue. and you shouldn't come out if your looking for approval or justification for your feelings. i came out very recently and still havent disclosed my sexuality to everyone. but i was able to do this because i trusted what i knew about myself and was sure i wouldn't let anyone elses oppinion effect me. take your time and be sure your ready to disclose before you do. otherwise theres nothing better then being honest. good luck
