I let my 16 year old brother use my computer. You know how when you search for something, a list of previously searched items comes up? The list that came up contained things like "hunks in underwear" and "c**k in ass". I always knew he was gay. I don't care, I love him. I just didn't want to officially find out in this way.

That's good that you still love him. Don't ask him though. Just let him tell you when he is ready. It's probably better to find out this way so it's not such a shocker when he finally does tell you.

That's how my sister found out about me. When I told 2 years later, she then told me that she knew because of the traces I left in the browser. Thinking back, I'm glad she didn't confront me about it, and only took it as an opportunity to subtly let me know that gay people were fine, and that being gay was nothing to be ashamed of. When I finally told her, she had already come to terms with it and could be incredibly supportive. Hope this anecdote helped.

Just let him come to you. Don't ask him about it because it may embarrass him. He obviously isn't ready to come out yet. Just be there for him when he does decide to tell you.

If you already knew, why is it such a big shock? His sexuality is nothinf to do with you. It is always a little uncomfortable when you stumble across a sibling's private life. Let it go and continue on. It was just confirmed what you already knew. I wouldn't say that he's a deviant, guest 1954275, he's a teenager. Be gentle.

Do you know how hard it is to be gay at that age..? Its wonderful that you are OK about it and it is awkward to know what he is into but all straight boys his age are looking up "big t___" and "watch hot w_____ ride big c____" so dont judge him too harshly as its not that different only he will have a much harder time than straight boys in finding dates and getting it on as most parents wont welcome your brother stopping by to take his boyfriend to the movies... He may not even know another guy his age that is out so who will he get to be a horny teenager with?

Wow, the big trend these days is to look the other way, accept, and say that people are born that way. Hogwash, I believe the synapses in brains could misfire on 1 maybe 2% of the entire population but more often than not certain key issues trigger deviant behavior. Don't be offended by my use of that term because it's accurate - something that's not normal. Since sex is meant for procreation, man on man sex is deviant. He's not a bad person, just confused. Part of the typical profile is rampant random sex and way over the top behavior - as if the person is shouting to the world 'I'm turbo gay' in an effort to bury themselves into that lifestyle and IMO convince themselves they are gay. My friend had back to back to back horrible relationships with women and than a young man came along who idolized him and understood him much better than those women - he experimented and says 'I'm gay' - little man shows his true colors (little drama queen witch) and a couple of years later my friend pops up with a little hottie girl and a plea to not say anything. MY POINT: He may just be confused and a few gentle words and spending time with his big bro, away from some quirky friends, may make a new man of your little bro. Otherwise, you love him anyway so good luck to you both!
