I have had an idea for probably a year and a half, he told my parents a few weeks ago, they kicked him out.... they asked me if i had any idea, i said no. I dare not tell my friends because I will not know their reactions, I could see the rumors around school going "see that kid? His brother is a f_____" especially here in the bible belt. I never wanted to tell my parents in fear of this.

Never be ashamed of your brother. How can you stand by as your parents abandon everything it means to be a true parent?! I understand your difficulty but you have to support your dreams if you cannot make things right.

You don't have to tell your friends, after all, its your brother's personal buisness. But you should still be there for your brother, help him if you can, and maybe even encourage your parents to take him back in.

He is your brother and nothing can change that...support him and don't be so narrow-minded like your parents, and push away a child just because they are gay....SO WHAT!!!! He is human just like the rest of us, he has feelings, and he deserves to be treated that way!!!
