He asked me to marry him in front of his children on Christmas morning, knowing full well I am not ready to get married. He did it then because he knows his children love me and I would never hurt them by telling him no. I am angry and hurt. I feel pressured into an engagement I am no where near ready to accept. I am wearing the ring. The diamond is yellow and it is too big for my finger. I hate it when I look at it. And, for some reason, I can't seem to look at him anymore, either.
