A Favorite Teacher

On facebook, I've been reading all the notes of the newly released schedules for the upcoming school year.

I secretly get jealous when I see that lots of the other girls have *her* for a teacher; she was my teacher last year, and she was one of the most influential teachers I've ever met in my life.

My classmates from that class said she favored me; she gave me all the attention that I wanted. Under her guidance through me, we were successful in what we both had desired... (1st place!)

I miss her. I hope she sticks around at least one more year so I can have her as a teacher again.

...but by then she'd probably already forget who I am.

And that's what I fear the most.

She would not forget you! Stop by and see her. She will be anxious to see how you are. I have ran into teachers 20 years later who rememberd me. I always remember the really great students!! Unfourtunatly the really bad ones too. Sounds like you are on the good side.

i have been out of high school for a long time and sometimes i still miss my favorite teacher. i only had him one year and for one class but he was very influential. i just try to be thankful that he was around when i needed guidance.
