A shout out to you....QuickCode : deejaygirlOne of the internships I had for my college major was a student disc jockey position for a radio station in our town for an hour every Saturday. The station chose one or two students from each university for this internship and I was the one chosen for mine. Well during this time, I was in the throes of my first serious crush. Our "relationship/friendship" if you could call it that were going through a lot of upheavals at that time. He saw me as this girl who was probably bad for him and his goody two shoes friends saw me the same way. It did not make for a good start to our friendship. (I'm still friends with him now 4 years later...so our friendship had a happy ending!) But at that time, he would go through stages of paying attention to me and then completely ignoring me. So during one of those times that he was doing the latter, I was so irritated that I lashed out. During one of my deejaying sessions, I remembered two of his favorite songs at that time "Loser" by Beck and "Creep" by Radiohead. With an evil grin on my face, I proceeded to set up the songs and I played them to back to back. At the end of the two songs, I dedicated them to him, identifying him so completely that on that next Monday, everyone in school from our social circle knew...and trust me...they ribbed him about it a lot....hahahahaha.
