when i was in grade school, from grade 2 and up, i was picked on by everyone, i hated school, i cried almost every morning before school for a year. halfway through grade 11, everyone just stopped. dont know why. now, im 19, and, for the most part, ive got alot of things going for me, i have a girlfriend, whome i love, im a good looking lad, or so ive been told, (i'd link you to a pic, but i cant), with a most excelent personality. ive got a good paying job (so i can goto college) and i live with my two best friends. everything seems like it should be fine and dandy. but everytime i look in the mirror, i still see the kid that no one liked, the kid without any friends. in some ways, it still feels like they're still picking on me.

when i was younger i thought i was ugly, from the way my classmates treated me and looked at me. yet a friend of my mother would take pictures of me ( as a childrens model) and tell me i was beautiful. today i get nearly 3 to 4 complements a day about my beauty and how great of a model i am. all i see is the ugly little girl my classmate saw me as.

i was fat, glasses, shy and ugly in high school.but when i got my 1st job and decided to work on myself, i joined a gym, learned to do make-up and got my hair styled and highlighted and got contacts but for a long time i felt the same way, i found a little dog in a trash can and took her home and the way she would look at me with total love was something i never had before and i started seeing what she seen when i looked in the mirror; 12 years later when she died i went through it all again, i think what is done to you in those years never goes away. i have never gone out of my house without makeup or my hair done. sorry about what happened to you

i know what you mean.
i had no friends from grade 3 to grade 6.
and now i'm in the 11th grade and everytime i hear people laugh or whisper.. i think it's about me..
