Anger

My mother in law is dying of Multiple Sclorosis, she lives with us and we can't afford to not have her disablity check come in because before we took the finances away she refinanced the almost paid off mortgage to pay for the mortgage to be unemployed so she could get disablity checks. I hate her and her stupid ideas, how she starts fights right before bed time, how she thinks that honey or pineapple will cure her, how she thinks that get rich quick scheames will work,and how she thinks I love her. I wish she'd just choke on a wheat thin while we were at work so we'd be free of her fading life. I feel stuck in a box and our life together can't start till she dies.

OMG well, thoughts of her dying are not healthy for either of you. Maybe tell your husband you're afraid of coming home - or worse - being home when she has a medical problem. Let him know that you don't want to rush her to the door but that the anxiety is beginning to overwhelm you and you think it'd be best to have her placed in assisted living. Since it sounds like you're in HER home, then you and your husband will need to suck it up and buy the house she owns. BTW, if she did die - then what ? Would you really be happy and would you be financially prepared for her loss ?

I know you're very angry, but you really do love your mother. My mother is the exact same way. She is dieing and it seems like she is holding the rest of us back (I am the oldest of 4 siblings. I am 16) Just stay close to your mother no matter how much she annoys you because when she finally does go you are really going to regret it. I thought my father was annoying too and he called me while on his death bed to tell me that he loved me and I told him to stop calling me and hung up the phone. He passed away that night and I regret it so much. So be nice to your mother no matter how horrible she makes you feel. It will be worth it

i hate my mother in law too, she is such a bitch. she did everything she could to brake up my marriage when she found out we had gone away and gotten married and then i made sure we moved far away and when she dies i will go back to the grave that night and spit on it
