But will he ever love me?

My boyfriend is the greatest guy...one thing that I appreciate about him is that he has a very strong code of honor and morals. I don't think he would ever mean to hurt anyone, myself included. But I get the sense that he sees me as a temporary development. While we're together, he pays me the utmost attention, and he is kind, thoughtful, sweet, caring. He wouldn't intend to hurt me, but I have the strongest gut feeling that he will leave me utterly heartbroken in the end.

Last night, sleeping in his arms, I dreamt that I told him, "You know, I really do love you, even though you dont love me, and he replied, "I know."

I'm afraid that's all I'll ever get from him.
