i lost my virginity a week ago and i dont really think about WHAT that means, because im afraid that if i do think about it, i will regret it. maybe im just too old-fashioned. maybe its really not a big deal.. or is it? im too scared to find out. does that makes sense?

Completely. I feel the same way. I'm old fashion and I believe it's something you give to the man you marry. But I relapsed and decided "it's not a big deal, it's just sex".. I don't want to truly think about it. If I do I'll realize what I REALLY lost.

I understand what you mean, on one hand it your virginity this thing that you can only have once, and on the other hand you think it's just an act, something that everyone does, why should it matter? and the truth is, it's neiter one or the other, it's only what you make of it, but it's apparent that your virginity was a big deal to you, even if you haven't realized it yet. But you can't dwell on the past, maybe what happend was a mistake for you, but everything happens for a reason, and this one act alone doesn't define you. Just because your no longer a virgin doesn't mean you have to have sex the next time the opportunity presents itself. Follow your instincts, and wait til your ready again. who knows, maybe the next guy will be the one, and at least it won't be painful with him so you can actually enjoy it.
