can you please help me

i met this guy and before i met him i got gentail herpes and i wanna tell him before we start even dating and i dont know what to do i jsut dont wanna have to worry bout telling him later on so can you help

Oh this is an easy one. It's great that you feel so strongly about telling him by the way. It sounds like you're interested in a relationship with this guy, so hopefully you feel pretty comfortable with him. If not, and you're not going to have sex right away, you could wait until you do feel more comfortable. Telling him right up front is great, but for whatever reason you might want to feel like you can trust him more before you disclose something pretty personal. If you're worried about how he'll react don't be, it's not as big a deal as it might seem to you. If you're worried that waiting to tell him would be like witholding something, it's not. It's your business up until it actually affects him. If it's gonna bother you I say get it out of the way. And when you tell him, you can explain why you're telling him now and not later or earlier. Just be sure to have some good information about herpes when you do tell him. Don't worry.
