Cheat

I have cheated on every single boyfriend.

My father involved me in an affair when i was 14, i would text the girlfriend... when things got to heavy for him, he told me he was dieing of cancer and he wasn't. I was threatened by my step dad 2 years ago - he pinned me to a wall with his fist in my face. I was taken advantage of on a beach 2summers ago - no one was around to stop it happeneing.

I am aware of all this stuff and emotionally come to terms with it, but i can't stop cheating. I don't want to use it as an excuse...

Now i am falling in love with my best male friend but im scared incase i do the same thing to him as every body else.

You have to try and recognize the situation that would make you cheat. You have to keep yourself from being put in that situation. If you're in love with your best male friend, then don't go over to some other guys house if you know he's hot for you, you know? You won't stop cheating until you truly respect that person you love. How would you feel if he cheated on you? Don't forget that feeling.

talk to him. tell him your past history... tell him how you are feeling now. If he is a good friend and worth your love he will help you work through it. if he cant or wont help you then he isnt worth your love to start with.

i do the same thing i cheat to end relationships because i fear commitment but just so u know it kills me every time i do it because i love my girlfreind more than anything... i want to stop but i cant ive done it my whole life so i think u should stop before i consumes u

It sounds like you might have borderline personality disorder from all of the traumas you've experienced. Look into seeing a therapist.

listen, you cheat because this is where you feel you have control over something in a relationship, each thing that happened to you you feel you had no control over what happened with these men, father, step-father, who ever it was one the beach...you felt helpless and not in control, by you should take control by NOT cheating. take control of the part of you that wants to cheat or be with someone else, think about it

if you truly love someone there should be no need for you to cheat. why would you want to when you have what you want right in front of you.
