I broke up with an ex of mine for the same reason. I had the other girl on the phone telling me details that only someone who was intimate with him would know and he still never admitted to doing it. It hurt to end it but with that kind of lack of respect, I didn't have a choice. I wish you better strength and courage than with mine. I'm proud of you for doing so.

Sounds like he wanted you to find out but was too much of a coward to outright tell you it was over. I often go to bed at night screaming 'I want a divorce' but it's only in my head and we plod along ... sigh ...
