Cheating Grandma

I was doing a heritage project this year and I had the marriage certificate of my grandpa and grandma and the certificate of him and my stepgrandma, Michelle. My grandpa married Michelle two days after divorcing my grandma. I asked my mom and she told me that they had an affair and my stepmom broke up my grandparents marriage. My grandpa died when I was two and my stepgrandma died earlier in the year from pancreatic cancer. I don't know what to think now.

I can never believe that a person can break up a happy marriage!! Meaning I don't think Michelle intended to do anything, your grandfather clearly wasn't happy for whatever reason...and remember as hard as it is to believe, it's your grandfather that was married to your grandmother and had that commitment to her, not Michelle.
