My major crush in high school didn't pay attention to me at all -- until one day, he compliments me on my earrings -- I realized later this was a ploy to get me to set him up with my best friend!
Two years later -- I see him again at a college party -- I waited until he passed out and I pierced his ear with the earring I was wearing at the time.
I still have the other earring. ;-)
