FAT GIRL

QuickCode : FAT

I have always been a big girl. I thought that I ate because I was hungry, or that I just liked food. Everyone always insists that people are fat because it is the only way they are comforted. It wasn't Until I read the story "fat girl" that I realized I eat for comfort. It scares the hell out of me. I am 17 and weigh 320 pounds. I just can't stop eating.

You can, sweetheart. Don't be afraid to tell people you're getting yourself healthy - you'll be surprised how many people will support you (I was!). You're worth it.

You're a addicted to food, and like any addiction that's going to be hard to break. If you want to stop overeating you need to be prepared to change. Every day is going to be a struggle and it won't be easy but you can stop eating. Unlike most addictions it isn't something you can just totally cut out. But if you are prepared to change you need to understand it's a life style change. Come up with a plan, learn moderation and find people who will be a support system whether it's family or friends or others who also overeat. Some days you may break down but don't let yourself get discouraged. Start telling yourself you can stop instead of can't.

Hey there! I can completely understand how you feel, I used to weigh 113 kg (roughly 230 lbs), and I felt miserable. I wrote down how badly I wanted to lose weight, and decided to pull through with it for a month, no matter how bad. If I cheated one day, I didn't give up, instead I saw it as 'I was good for x days, and slipped a little 1 day, that's pretty good for the beginning.I found some work-out that I 'enjoyed' (=the least painful)(for me: I finally got myself my puppy I dreamed of, and walk for 2-3 hours with mbt shoes (train your muscles while just walking), ate less, and healthier. There are some pretty delicious fruit recipes etc.I lost about 10 kg (22 lbs) in 5 weeks, and just kind of started enjoying it, because I liked the outcome, and constantly kept motivating myself with it. I am now down (and have been there for 3 years) to 68 kg (140 lbs). Be pround of every ounce you lose, because it definitely is not easy! Best luck to you! And love yourself, heavy or not, weight is not part of your personality!
