free merchandise

I have worked for a major retail store for the past 3 years. The other day a customer came in and I rang up all of her stuff. The bill came to around $32 dollars and I started wrapping up her stuff. I lost track of things that were going on and ended up not collecting any money from the customer. So she got away with $32 of free merchandise. I am afraid my manager will find out and fire me.
