Trust me, my brother is gay. It is not easy. He gets ridiculed and made fun of constantly. People have actually stopped being friends with my family just for that one dumb reason. There is nothing wrong with being gay or being straight. Every path you choose will have its negatives and positives, just choose the one that's best for you.
- Make a list of all your problems, write them down and tuck them away. Look at them a week later and half of that list will be gone.

I'm an 18 year old lesbian...And let me tell you, I'm completely open with it now...But being a young teenager in high school and feeling things you know aren't NORMAL fucks you up. I started cutting myself when I started thinking I was gay...Now I dont think even plstic surgery will be able to get rid of all the scars...

I can't imagine honestly what you might be that would make you rather be gay but I'm not going to mock you and say that being gay is way harder. Whatever you are going through that makes being gay look like an easier choice, I'm so sorry. Life is really hard and I know it is sometimes easier to wish we had some other identity for the world to see us as. Stay strong.

You must be kidding! Who put you up this? Is this the moderator trying to spice up secret chest? If it is --- for shame! Very few places in the U.S. do gay people have no fear of bigotry.
Many gay people have to make the great migration to big cities with sizable gay populations to even feel like they can have some semblance of a normal life.
That does not sound easy to me.
