gay straight or bi

I am scared to death that my family will find out I prefer women. They're all such conservative homophobes, and I couldn't bare to know how they would talk about me behind my back. I am interested in guys sometimes, but I wonder if it's because I try so hard to fit into the "straight" world. Any advice?

Coming out is one of the hardest things I've ever done. You need love and support, if not from your family, then your friends...be careful of who you chose to tell, until you feel comfortable with it yourself. That is the first step, coming out to yourself. Once you do that you will feel more comfortable with your decision to let others know.

Hey, I'm still in the closet! I'm bi and 18, maybe 4 people worldwide know..so, my AMAZING, WORLDLY advice is keep it to yourself. Wait until you've got lots of mates who you trust implicitly, then come out. Get a support network. The other person said it better actually.

Be yourself, take your time, and think it through. Do not let others run your life. Family could be very judgemental, but that's what friends are for; they are the family you chose.
