Homecoming?

I think he's AMAZING. & i'm not one of those people who throws that word around alot. I only say it when i really really mean it. I want to ask him to Homecoming. But he had a horrible expierence at Homecoming in his sophmore year. I don't know if I should ask him now that he told me that. I like him so much, but i'm scared...
