How Could I?

I had a dream that he came here and that he said he loved me even though I told him to leave me alone, and he asked me to do him a favor, just like when I patched him up in my room after he had a fight with K and Tom last December.

I said ok and he said "put your hands on my shoulders and close your eyes" and he kissed me.

All day I've been remembering that December and all his bruises and cuts where he fell into the fence and his back and the smell of the peroxide and the hiss when he pulled the air through his teeth so I would know that it stung. And how it took so long for his lips to reach mine and how I buckled when they finally did and how he held me up, leaning against him, and how he smelled felt tasted looked, and now i F______ MISS HIM.
