Hurt in Love

My Fiance is jioning the Air Force to become a pilot. It has been his dream since he was a kid. I would never want to take that away from him, but thats one of the things I want him to leave. I hate that he wants to leave me. I feel like I must not be good enough if he chooses to leave me for months at a time. I just want him to love me the most. I love him, and will do anything for him, that's why I cannot tell him this. It would break his heart. I dont know, I really don't like the idea of the military life, and being alone. I just want him to love me and want to stay with me like I love him.

hi. i got married in september and my husband left for the air force in october, last year. his dream was to be a pilot as well and i felt (and still feel) the same as you. its hard and it sucks. but you guys can get through it. dont think of it as him leaving you. that makes it even harder. email me if you want.
