I've never told a guy I like him. Once actually. In third grade, and he ran away. (It was third grade though...) I'm not ugly or anything... I don't have the courage to tell any guy I've ever liked that I liked him. I'm to afraid that he won't like me or worse, the third-grade-runaway always reminds me that its better not to say anything. Then nothing happens, he gets a girlfriend, and I'm still alone. What if I spend my life alone? I'll never be in love because I can't even get the courage to say anything.

Just tell them. If they run away then oh well! It gives you more opportunity to keep searching for the right one who won't be a jerk about it. Not everybody reacts the same way to one thing.
