I'm lazy. I do the bare minimum at work. I make excuses for why stuff isn't done. I hate my job so much but can't quit because it's my father's company and it will look like I'm "betraying the family". So instead, I sit around all day on the internet, hoping I'll get caught and will get fired.

My family is in a completely different field than i am. When I told them I was not going into it and I knew what I wanted to do, they questioned it till I accomplished it, but they understood even though what I do is dangerous. Tell them and do what you want. Make a LIFE not a Living...

If you are doing sub-standard work then the people around you know it. Who's pulling their weight and who's not is always known. They frankly would probably respect you more if you owned up to being dissatisfied and moved onto a field where you are content.
