i cheated

i broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years and started talking to this amazing guy. we started going out a while later and during the first month i cheated on him twice, both times i was drunk and looking back i think it was because i was scared to get close to him after being hurt. i didnt believe in love at the time. we aren't going out anymore but we're still together. i want to tell him so bad because 1) honesty (as stupid as it may sound coming from me) is so important to me 2) i want to see how strong our relationship really is. but im SO scared.
