The only way for this to ever work out is if you tell him and he is willing to try to forgive you. He may not be, or may not be able to, and you may have to accept that. It takes a lot of work to get past something like this in a relationship, and it's not easy. See how it goes though. You'll never be happy keeping this secret from him.
