You tell me that you love me everyday, that you can't live without me, that your life has changed and that you are finally happy and that it's all because of me. I tell you that I feel the same way that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. But really, I don't think I love you at all. I'm fooling myself because I was so lonely and you came along and told me everything I needed to hear. I only love you because you love me. I know that we aren't right for each other that you can't really make me happy. I just can't tell you because last time I tried it sounded like you were going to do something stupid. Now I feel like I'm stuck. I don't want to be stuck with you, but I can't tell you again.

Can i tell you something...reading this is like reading my own thoughts a few months ago. I strongly believe that if you are not happy with him let him go. Its not fair to you to be with someone that you don't love. And its not fair to him because he should be with someone who loves him. Its not fair to each other. You will wind up hating yourself if you don't let him go. And that hate will be geared toward him, because when you see him, you'll will remind yourself of how miserable you are. Nobody knows you the way you know yourself. And if he doesn't make you happy, let him go. At the end of the day, you need to be selfish and think about your happiness because that is what matters....You may think its the hardest thing letting him go, but when you do it, your will feel a sense of liberation and freedom, and love and happiness for yourself that you didn't know could exist...

I am in the same situation. I was truly in love with him for a while. But it waned. I feel like he will kill himself if i leave him. All my friends and family know and have told me he is not the one for me. I'm still stuck. I know what I have to do, but I'm too afraid to do it.
