its a bummer..i know how you feel. but there will be somebody else. even if it doesnt seem like it at the moment...that failing we may both become old as spinsters with cats and houses that smell musty with really bad decorative wallpaper lol...and i hate cats. keep positive :D

story of my life. i was hung up on a guy for 5 (!!!) years. i stopped talking to him 7 months ago and i realize now that i never really loved him for him. i loved the idea of him, which is so cliché. i thought i could marry him and we'd have such a happy life together if only he would come around to the idea. but now that i'm not all caught up in him, i can see that that NEVER would have worked out, and i'm SO glad he ended things.
the irony of the situation is that i'm doing the same thing with a new guy now. i guess it's the two of us together.

I think you just need to give it some time to forget about him.
It's not easy- trust me, I know it isn't, but you have to try. It'll take a while, but maybe in the end, you'll realize that he isn't worth it. If it really is meant to be, then the two of you will hit it off. If not, then there's someone out there better for you- one that will love you back.
