I got over a childhood crush I met again because

she quotes Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy QUITE OFTEN FOR NO REASON since she thinks he is cute and is greatly quotable because he's such a rebel.

She's almost 23 years old.

She is also going to attend law school soon but does not take interest in the subject and knows next to nothing about world affairs in that realm.
I would never pursue law but even I seem to take more interest.

I know I haven't seen her for 8 years and didn't talk to her until a week ago, but how can this be??

What kind of person did I imagine in her when I was a teen?

I hope the woman I am interested in at the office is actually interested in Finance and doesn't quote some band suddenly when we are chatting about good holiday areas.

I'd much rather she have a sixth toe,
