I loved you I was just scared

I loved you, I was just scared. I ALWAYS thought that was sooo dumb. I thought, "who would let go of someone that they felt so strongly for?" Then I did it. The real reason I dumped you was because I was really scared that my family wouldn't like you, even though I LOVED you. You were the one who gave me life when I went through soo much. I didn't tell you any of it but you talked me down and just listened to me cry...I knew you felt it too when you called me from work just to say "Goodnight". My family would want me to be happy, but if they didn't like you that would break me apart. My friends were just looking out for me when they said they didn't like you, even though you were the rock in my hardest time.I think they "thought" they knew what was best for me, but they really didn't because they were going through stuff too. I'm so sorry because I loved you and never told you. Now that I went through that I have forgiven myself, its just hard to not compare everyone to you.
