That's completely unfortunate and I am sorry to hear that. You should find an adult you trust and inform them of the situation. He is obviously not a man of God if he's having sex with young girls. Don't lose your faith because of him. Pray to God for guidance and watch out for you and your friend.

Interesting post, if you're serious you should force your friend to report the incident. But with all the attention on the clergy it's a little odd for someone to commit that crime AND compound it by being mean to the victim??? I smell a cop out, maybe your friend isn't doing that well in school because the disturbing truth is the rapist is someone from her family. Either way she needs professional help. Go to the police but don't lay any false accusations without verification from the victim that she isn't trying to hide an ever worse truth. Good luck to you both!

GO TO THE POLICE NOW!!! If he did it once that you know about, he's done it a hundred times that you don't. This scars people for life and makes them unable to have a normal relationship. I am not religious anymore, I call myself an anti-practising catholic but the person below was totally correct when they said, hand him in to police and keep your faith if you want to keep your faith. Unfortunately, chances are you are your friend is not the only person that he is taking advantage of, just look at the news stories of molesting prists and your friend wont be the last, so do someone else a favour and get rid of him before he targets anyone else. You could start by telling the police and either not name your friend immediately or not tell your friend that it was you who told police. You could let someone walk in on them so your friend has a witness (or film something less bad on your mobile or record her telling him she wants to sdtop the abuse and get a confession) as she will never be blamed.

to the person who said the thing about roses and thorns: some one asked the same question on yahoo!answers only it was phrased "if life is fair than why do roses have thorns?", my answer was picked as the best, and this was it: nobody ever said life was fair, as for roses, we must learn to expierence it's pain before we can understand it's beauty.

I am not a Church going person, infact I am Atheist boarding Satanist (do not believe the rumours, research Satanism we do not believe in Satan at all, please don't continue the ignorance.) My advice is to not give up what you believe in, don't let one persons evil ruin something that can give you what you want, and im assuming that that is hope or your saviour as most religeons. Be there for your friend unless you are not wanted, and keep your faith. However, that said you need to think about whether or not she is being truthful, or that she lead the priest (sex unknown from description and bad grammar) on, after all everyone sins, sex is a very primitive function, we are driven by it.
