i broke up with my long term boyfriend this time last year. we then got back neer the end of last year and broke up again around january. i am now with someone else and have been for about a month but i cant get my ex out of my head. he hasnt been with anyone else but me and not dated since we broke up. i cant help but think we could still have something we were so perfect togeather.

Trust me, he has a life beyond you and the people you both know. He's been with more than a few others - leaving you allowed him to start laying a path from here to the next county. If you're with the wrong person now then end it, but - don't fool yourself into thinking the grass was greener. It wasn't and it wouldn't be 'perfect' - remember, there's a reason you broke up twice and came close a few other times too.

Didn't you break up the 2nd time because of the fact he hooked up with someone during your first 'break?' If he hasnt dated anyone since you broke up, I would almost guarantee that he still loves you and misses you. Im in the same sitiuation as he is and it hurts badly when you love your ex but she is with someone else, just as you are. If you still want to be with him PLEASE talk to him and try to work it out.....dont make him suffer. I wish I knew if my ex still felt like this about me. It would make me ENJOY life again.......

Wow, I am in the almost same situation.
So far I haven't been talking to my 'ex'-boyfriend for a while though his family LOVES me. Honestly, I still love him even though millions of guys asked me out and I turn them down.
