I wished Id love her

I have not really had a mother my entire life. Actually none of my two sisters or brother did either. My mom had to work all of our lives, leaving us with the boyfriend..you know how that goes. My freshman year I began dating this boy who would always rag on my mom and I would get pissed off. I used to take up for her, because I loved her. But now, I'm a senior and I want to go to a college far away to get away from her. The reason for that is she's not very smart, like she was brought up way back woods and it pisses me off because she can never relate to me or give me one spec of advice! Any who, the moral of this story is is now that I'm older and can see how dumb my mother actually is I find it harder to love her. She also NEVER EVER listens to what I have to say, so that may be a factor. I just want to love her more, but it almost seems impossible.
