...it wouldn't make it all unhappen, it wouldn't mean I was forgiven...I don't suppose you'd even notice, if I apologised. For what it's worth, I am sorry. No one should be cheated on the way I cheated on you.

I will also say though, my daughter - the child you tried to force me to give up for adoption (your condition for me to stay with you) - is the most beautiful and remarkable young woman I have ever known. I am grateful every day you have not -ever- had the opportunity to touch her life in any way.
