You can be happy again, although you will always have that achy part that misses them and wishes they were a part of your life still. Be strong- you have a lot of life to live, and unfortunately we will have to see many of those people we love go before us.
My mom died a few years ago and it still hurts, but I've learned to be happy again. I hope you can too.
