I was sexually assaulted by 3 different people when I was very young. All of them were very close to me. They lost my trust, and my respect. Its over 10 years later since my youngest assualt... I'm 14. I didn't cry when one of them died, when one of them left me for jail (drinking.) In fact, I'm still waiting for karma to get the last person. He lives with me.
Now I have the perfect boyfriend who aims to please me and wants to marry me soon as we are done with high school. But I'm breaking up with him. I can't stand to feel loved by anyone, or I am afraid I will start to trust them. And the same thing will happen again.
P.S. Child Services don't help.

Forget Child Service, talk to a religious leader and/or trusted teacher. Someone who knows you will pick up the fight and carry on the charge until the person is punished. Good luck!

Ok so I have been through the sexual assault as a child and I know how hard it is to accept being truely loved. YOu have to start trusting people. I didn't start trusting again until last year. I am 24 years old. It was so hard to have relationships with people because I was always waiting for them to stab me in the back. I just want you to know that there is hope for healing and happiness. Find someone you can talk to...like really talk to. I had a best friend that went through almost everything with me. Today she is still my best friend and even though she knows all my deepest darkest secrets, she still loves me for me. There is hope, don't give up on it. And try not to push away the people that love you. I found out the hard way that those people are the ones you really need around the most. So chin up. Keep your head high and never let anyone make you feel like a bad person for what you are going through. You will figure it out and you will trust again... I promise!

You're 14 - too young to know what true love and or the perfect boyfriend is, you need time to really get to know each other. Relax, stay friends with him but become an adult before you try to become a girlfriend or worse, a child bride. As for the assaults, you need to report them to the authorities, it is NEVER too late for the truth. Punish them and help others. God bless!

I think that you should learn to trust your boyfriend because not everybody you are associated will do that to you. Since you've known him for so long, I don't think that he would want to do that to you. He loves you, you should learn to love him back. You've hit a few bumps in the road, but you're leading a clear path now.

If I were you, I wouldn't date. I've been hurt way too many times by girls that have been raped and have let their past dictate and control them. Your boyfriend is a good guy. Consider him a Blessing when he proves to you that every person isn' the Same and he won't do the things the 3 other guys did. And if you do decide to dump your boyfriend, seriously, don't date ever again until you think you can get past that, cuz you are just going to hurt other innocent people.
