Lesbian medical school stupidity
QuickCode :
I fell in love with another girl, told her in a drunken mess at our leavers ball, she was incredibly understandinglovely about it. We're still friends, and now in my stupidity and eagerness to please her, I am using all my previous experience to advise her boyfriend about applying for medical school.
If he gets a place and I don't (again) I'm gonna f______ kill him.
Which is a shame really 'cause I've realised he's a genuinely good person and they're one of life's great love stories.

Your friendship is two faced and dangerous. Leave them alone.

You should stop being friends with her and her boyfriend. You're only preventing yourself from finding someone who will love you back.

It's not a rare situation, is it? But if he really is a good person it probrably is best to take a step back from them both. It is hard, but it won't hurt as much as the heartache watching them together would cause. Good luck.

I guess sometimes loving someone doesn't mean you have to be with them. Just being there when they need you is enough. And you're just giving him advice whether or not he gets in will depend on himself and other factors too. Don't be too hard on yourself!
