to be in love for just one second is worth a lifetime of pain. To never feel love is to feel nothing at all. It hurts now, and time will make it easier, but it will help you understand what you want in a partner when the timing is right. Love is beautiful even if its painful.

I know how you feel. I broke up wiht my boyfriend of 2 years about a year ago and the pain has still never gone away. Im not sure it ever will, but everyday I see it as a new opportunity to meet someone better.
