I have very little idea what your going through due to this, but life can deal crap and the important thing is to just move on through it. When your looking for a guy, maybe it would be best to find someone for yourself and love them for who they are, and not who they are in relation to the boy who died, if you know wat I mean by that. sorry, not sure how helpful this will be, if any, but you'll find someone else to love, your still young, just a matter of time....
PS - never try to force the feeling for just anyone.
