Loved someone who was awful to me

When I was in my senior year of high school, he was in his sophomore year. He was such a geek. I miss him so much. However I never told him how I felt because of the age difference and because I was leaving for college and he would still be in high school. Even now in my freshman year I miss him still, though I know he's forgotten all about me I cannot stop thinking of what might have been. I need to move on and find a guy my own age but it's difficult.
