Meaningless

My life is completely meaningless. I'm a well-adjusted 30ish male. Married. Steady job. But I'm going nowhere. It's mortifying to have nothing to look forward to. Nothing to reach for. Nothing to hope for. Dream for. How did I get here?

Believe me, I know this is a tough situation! Sometimes you can just get stuck in a rut and nothing seems like it's worth it... like there is nothing to look forward to, no surprises, no fun! My only advice (because this has happened to me) is to think of the positive in your relationship, in your job, in your life... and try to mix things up a little... start going to the gym or plan a vacation. If you don't have kids, don't have them until you feel content with your own life!! That's not the answer!

i can guess how difficult it is for you. you would think that a person in your situation would be content with his life. how about children? they always bring happiness and meaning to life.
