Within these few months I have developed a fantasy to sleep with another guy, so I found one online met up with him and had sex, all while my girlfriend lay in her bed at her house oblivious to my misdeeds. After trying it I have to say I prefer sex with a woman a million times more. I felt it would have consumed me until I had done it, and now that i have, I feel horrible for cheating on her. I don't know if I should tell her, I love her so much I am willing to take this secret to my grave. I just want to make things right.

honestly? In my opinion, if you love her, and want to stay together with her, don't tell her, it would only devastate her needlessly, and cause her infinite pain without doing her any good. I have been on both sides of the boat, and I have to say that the guilt is excruciating at times, but I also know what is like to be betrayed. I had no idea anything could hurt so much. if it was just one -time sex thing or something, I would rather not know. It caused me physical pain, as if someone had kicked me in my stomach (and I am not exaggerating), I doubted myself and my attractiveness greatly. And I hated him for it. We are still together, but it changed the nature of our relationship 100%, and a lot of damage was done, some irreversible (no way are we ever going to achieve that level of trust again). I don't know since your situation is a bit different, maybe she will understand that you needed to do it, I am pretty sure she'll be terribly terribly hurt, with nothing to be gained by anyone.I do not believe that it is dishonest, I believe it is damage control on her feelings (unless there is a chance she might find out), and the guilt is sort of punishment of sorts for yourself, and it would save her the pain, which I don't think you want her to go through..

Confess to whoever your higher being is and ask for forgivness. We don't need to know EVERYTHING. Forgive yourself, never let her find out, sometimes secrets are worth keeping.

Don't tell her. We all have fantasies and needs, thats understandable, but from now on, just do everything you can for her, make her feel special, and it may help you sleep at night to treat her like a goddess. Cheating is hard on both parties if you're in love, I know first hand...just don't tell her, and keep her happy, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Are you guys serious? Once a cheater, always a cheater. How dirty can you be? It's only fair that your girlfriend knows.
