memory lane

I hadn't thought about you in months but last night when i saw you and your girlfriend at the movies i remembered everything, how you used to hold my hand how you used to laugh at my taste in movies and music, all the times when we stayed up all night playing video games. I remembered the time when we parked at the airport and watched the planes take off. That night we talked until the sun came up and then some. I thought back to when every wednesday was 2 for 1 fajita night. I thought back to when you dried my tears with your shirt and how you used to hold me all night. Back to our laundry battles and how you lectured me not knowing how to change a tire. I thought about everyday stuff that made our love. I couldn;t help but think that the reasons we aren't together now seemed stupid and pointless. But time has moved on and your happy and I am with a guy now it might be something we're still finding that out but he makes me laugh which is s atart
