My deepest shame

My entire family and everyone that I know is against abortion. However, when I was 18, I got an abortion. Not because I believed it was right, but because I was afraid of what my family would say about me having sex and getting pregnant before getting married. It is now a weight that I will bear for the rest of my life. I can't imagine what my family would think of me now.

Do not live your life by what others think. You will never be able to please everyone.

Instead, focus on pleasing yourself. That is the one person you have to live with FOREVER.

You've already had the abortion, and maybe it was for the best. Instead of concentrating on the past, concentrate on your future and live your life according to what you want.

It is the only way to be truley happy.

my whole family too is agaisnt abortian, so is my sister and always has been, who got one last year for the same reasons. she hates herself, is ashamed thinks we think differantly about her. a few very close family members know and what she doesnt understand is none of us think differantly of her.
